Welcome to The Editor’s Café!

If you want perfection, you have to prune, no matter if you are growing roses, or writing a story.

Greetings and Welcome to The Editor’s Café! We are so happy you have stopped in for a visit.

Our site is still under construction, so bear with us as we prepare what we hope will be a place you will stop by frequently.

Our mission here at The Editor’s Café is simple. We want to share writing, editing, and publishing tips from experts in their field to help you as you move forward in your own writing journey.

We'll be talking with agents, editors, publishers, other writers, and published authors and get the inside scoop on everything from querying agents, to editing your manuscript, to publishing.

To keep you up-to-date on our posts, we hope you'll sign up to receive our weekly newsletter. (We won't ever share your email with another!) We won't deluge your email, either. And, if you ever want to opt out, it's easy as clicking on the unsubscribe button when you receive the email.

We are currently setting up social media sites for The Editor's Café, but right now, if you haven't already, be sure to connect with Donna on her social media sites. Just click on any of the social media icons on any of our pages.

Most importantly, we want to hear from you. What would you like to know? Who would you like to hear from? Where are some of your favorite conferences? Contests? Organizations? We'll be happy to share them on our Resource page. We are always interested, too, in your questions, and of course, about your own writing journey. So, please share with us, too!

To get things up and running, in the next few days, we will be posting a recent interview with Brian A. Klems, online editor at WritersDigest.com and The Writer's Dig, and upcoming keynote speaker at the 2017 All Write Now! Conference. Read what he shared with Penny DeYong, publicity chair of the All Write Now! Conference about his role as an online editor, publishing trends, and lots more!

Again, we are glad you stopped by. Come back again! We'll be right here.

And remember, Write. Edit. Repeat.

Cheers!

Donna

LIFTING OF THE FOG
